This lightweight hiking bag offers exceptional back ventilation. It is ergonomically designed and offers plenty of space for your day hiking kit. The load is evenly distributed and the bag sits comfortably without pressure points. The construction of the "soft-neck" suspender offers additional comfort at the neck. The CROSSTRAIL product series packs benefit from a re-developed version of the hugely successful JACK WOLFSKIN ACS back system. Since its launch in 1991, the Classic Air Control System has stood for advanced ventilation, transport comfort and climate control. Comfort is enhanced by the Air Mesh fabric, which has large pores for optimal ventilation. There is a gap between the mesh back panel and the body of the bag. This gap allows sweat to escape more efficiently and helps keep your back dry. This backpack is not only good for your back, it's also good for the environment. Air Mesh fabric is sustainably produced and dyed using our innovative, waterless FUTURE DYE process. This saves 10 liters of water per pack. The lining is made entirely of recycled polyester.
With the CROSSTRAIL on the back, everything is tidy and easy to retrieve. Your water bottle, for example, can be stored in the fold-out bottle holder on the waistband so you can grab it when you need it. The pack boasts a comprehensive list of handy features. With multiple packing options - a separate front pocket, elastic mesh pockets on the front and sides, tie-down loops for a set of hiking poles and a pocket inside the lid for small items - you can carry everything you need for a day on the trail. And because it's important to maintain your fluid intake when hiking, especially in hot weather, the CROSSTRAIL is also prepared to accommodate a hydration system.
