The last steep meters of the mountain path take you to the top and open up breathtaking views of the rugged rocks of the Dolomites. Despite exertion, your back stays dry and well ventilated – thanks to the CROSSTRAIL 28 LT.
The lightweight and ventilated rear hiking backpack has ergonomic equipment that offers plenty of room for your day on the mountain. The weight is distributed evenly and the backpack allows a hold without pressure points. The soft construction in the neck area also relieves the neck.
We have perfected our ACS carrying system for the CROSSTRAIL range: the ventilated Air Control System at the back is a real JACK WOLFSKIN success story. Since 1991 it has stood for maximum ventilation and by far a classic in terms of wearing and climatic comfort. The chunky Airmesh material is durable and guarantees a super comfortable fit and optimal ventilation. Thanks to the sufficient distance between the back and the bag, moisture is better wicked away and your back stays dry.
By the way: This hiking backpack is therefore doubly good: for you and for the environment. To dye the Airmesh material, we used our innovative FUTURE DYE technology. It does not require water – this saves 10 liters of water per backpack. And the inner lining is made exclusively from recycled polyester.
With the CROSSTRAIL you have everything you need close at hand – for example your water bottle. Simply stow it in the fold-out bottle holder on the hip belt and you can access it in a single gesture. The U-shaped access to the main compartment on the front of the backpack makes it particularly practical.
With plenty of storage options – including front and side mesh pockets – and attachment loops for your trekking poles, you really can store everything you need for your tour. Small items fit in the inside flap pocket. And since it is important to drink a lot, especially when hiking in hot regions, we have equipped the CROSSTRAIL in addition with a device for a hydration system.
